SOUTHERN TRACKS RECORDING

Brendan O'Brien has mixed two songs at Southern Tracks Recording for the forthcoming R.E.M. Warner's compilation InTime:  The Best of R.E.M. 1985-2003  "Bad Day", an unreleased cut from the era of Lifes Rich Pageant (1986) and Document (1987); "Animal", a new track produced by Pat McCarthy. Karl Egsieker was assistant mix engineer with associate deputy Phillip Martin.

Brendan O'Brien mixed the new disc by ALIEN ANT FARM originally produced for Dreamworks by Robert and Dean DeLeo of STONE TEMPLE PILOTS.  Karl Egsieker was assistant mix engineer with deputy associate Phillip Martin.

OFFSPRING continued tracking and mixing at Southern Tracks for their new Columbia album with producer Brendan O'BrienKarl Egsieker was the engineer, assisted by Phillip Martin.  Brendan is also producing the Universal debut for Texas artist GRAHAM COLTEN at Southern Tracks.  Nick DiDia is the engineer with Karl Egsieker as second engineer, assisted by Phillip Martin.

Nick DiDia conducted the 5:1 mix for TRAIN's My Private Nation (Columbia) and THE THORNS eponymous debut on Sony/Columbia/Aware.  Karl Egsieker was the assistant mix engineer.

Nick DiDia
was also at Southern Tracks producing and engineering THE INJECTED's follow-up to Burn in Black for Island/Def Jam.  Karl Egsieker was the second engineer, assisted by Phillip Martin.  Nick mixed Vulture Street by POWDERFINGER, the Austrailian hard combo on Universal/Republic.

Producer Josh Abraham dropped by with engineer Ryan Williams  (a Southern Tracks alumnus) to perform and record keyboard overdubs for the new STAINED (Elecktra/Flip) disc, 14 Shades of Grey.  Karl Egsieker was second engineer, assisted by Phillip Martin.

With producer John Andrew Schreiner, THIRD DAY recorded the hymn "Blessed Assurance" for the compilation CD (Creative Trust) Next Door Savoir, which accompanies Max Lucado's book by the same name. Scott Osborne was engineer, with Karl Egsieker as second engineer and Phillip Martin assisting.

Karl Egseiker
mixed the trippy remix by Jeff Calder and Tim DeLaney of "Yesterday's Rain" from THE SWIMMING POOL Q's internationally acclaimed magnum opus Royal Academy of Reality (Bar/None).  Phillip Martin assisted.
